Huntsville Hospital Foundation executive director Katherine Craine shared some of the challenges of raising millions of dollars for hospital equipment, renovations and education programs – and how the foundation plans to tackle those challenges in 2017-2018 – during a Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays meeting on May 25.

The Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays teamed up with the Table Community Kitchen for Muskoka Maple Festival 2017 and the numbers are in.
 
Helping kids is a big part of what we do and kick-starting learning by supporting the Huntsville High School breakfast program is one way we make it happen.
 
Empowering cancer patients. Supporting family members and caregivers. Connecting health-care professionals. Educating the public. Enliven Centre for Self-Care told the Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays in March that it has given itself a tall order.

It's the second year for the Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays' homemade perogie fundraiser and once again the creation process included a lot of laughs, wine and, of course, work. The Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays was honoured to host Rotary District 7010 governor Margaret Walton (centre) on April 20, as she led an induction ceremony for our seven newest members.

It's that time of year again! The Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays hosts its annual Robbie Burns Bonspiel at the Huntsville Curling Club on Saturday, Jan. 28. Six teams are competing for prizes and bragging rights. But who will come out on top? Oh, and it's not just curling. There's a poetry contest and some embarrassing feats of agility to come. Funds raised support projects for youth in Huntsville and Lake of Bays.
